Charlie Woods grew up in London and Bath, England, and graduated from the University of Exeter with a Combined Honors Degree in English and Drama. In addition, Charlie trained at the Desmond Jones School of Improvisation and Physical Theatre, London. When Charlie moved to Los Angeles he trained at Playhouse West in Hollywood, California.


Charlie has acted in numerous commercials and independent films. One of his recent films, Niko, won the IFC Best International Short Film Award.


In addition, he has performed in theatrical productions with companies throughout the UK, Paris, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara including many Shakespeare productions. Most recently, Charlie played the romantic lead, Bassanio, in The Merchant of Venice.


Charlie is also an established audio artist having recorded plays (including radio plays), music promotion (The Buena Vista Social Club), book narration (Deyan Audio Studios, Los Angeles), and video game voice-over (The Elements Club).


Charlie is also the lead, Lord Gray, in The Elements Club, a transmedia historical romance (ebooks, casual video games, and online episodes).
